What people are saying about Juno
I feel that the course delivery and content from Juno is excellent. Also, as someone who can be hesitant and shy, I find the community to be very inviting and not intimidating at all. The reassurance you receive and just general kindness, is fantastic. The online course has been way better than I imagined. I was worried about not having the in person help I might require, but receiving help through Zoom and Slack has worked perfectly.

Alex and Lauren are excellent teachers! The class filled a much-needed void during the pandemic - we all looked forward to our Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Web Development
There are many schools in Toronto with a Web Dev learning program but I am definitely glad that I chose Juno. The environment is fun and friendly and the learning style is positive and reinforcing. All of the lesson materials are in simple terms which help with the sometimes complex language of the internet. Although the part-time program is fast-paced, the instructors ensure that everyone is on the same page and take the time to truly help you if you don't quite understand something. There are in-class exercises and code alongs to aid in student comprehension of the material and the take home projects were a great way to showcase our newly learned skills. I feel like this course has prepared me for the full-time bootcamp. I highly recommend Juno if you are looking to learn a new skill or are interested in a complete career change!

I chose Juno because of all of the positive reviews online - these reviews are not wrong! Prior to taking this course I had virtually no experience in web development, finishing the course, I can build professional sites that you'd actually come across online. The instructor and mentors are wonderful, they bring their individual experiences to each class and are incredibly knowledgeable. The content and speed of the course are excellent, and every lesson is supplemented with a ton of practical exercises, some that you do in class and others that you can do in your own time. The projects for the courses are great opportunities to apply everything you've learned and the instructor and mentors are there to guide you and provide constructive one-on-one feedback.

- A modern operating system - MacOS 10 or higher, Windows 7 or higher, or equivalent. We recommmend you use:

At this time, laptops running ChromeOS (“Chromebooks”) don’t easily run the software and tools we need for coursework at Juno, and cannot be used with our courses.

This ensures that students can wrap up every week of class confidently!
Given the changing nature of the COVID-19 situation, we are providing updates detailing the latest public health guidance, Juno’s COVID-19 policies, and on-site learning plans here.
We’ll continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation during the course. If public health conditions or guidance change during the course and we’re required to cease In-Person learning, the course will switch to our time-tested Live Online format, so that you can continue your learning.
If you prefer In-Person learning, you may also choose to defer to our next In-Person course. You’ll be able to pick up where you left off, but please note that we can’t guarantee that the instructor will be the same.
If you would like a refund, our regular refund policy applies.
Our In-Person courses are not recorded. If you miss a class, there will be a detailed summary of what was covered posted in course Slack channel, so you’ll have the opportunity to review that material in the detailed course notes. Your instructor and mentor are also available during Mentor Hours if you have any questions about the material, and will do everything they can to help catch you up!
We also recommend using our weekly virtual Office Hours outside of class days, which are offered to help fill any gaps in your understanding of the material, whether due to missing class or just needing more time to review.
You’re welcome to come to our newly renovated campus starting 1 hour before class begins — your class mentors will also be available in our classroom 30 minutes before the start of class! When class ends, all students will need to leave campus.
If you’d like to work from campus more regularly, we recommend becoming a member of Coral, our inclusion-driven coworking and community space! Day passes are also available for $25/day. For those interested and eligible, we offer financial aid to cover the membership cost.
