About the Position

We’re looking for a driven, results-oriented, energetic, friendly and proactive Admissions Consultant to join our team! You will be responsible for helping us craft the perfect learning journeys and support over 1000 students every year. We're confident that our programs and courses are the best out there, and this position is key to making sure that our students know what path is right for them!

The role of the Admissions Consultant is to ensure students are enjoying their courses and meeting their learning goals, discover and understand what students are looking for as a next step in their learning journey or in their careers, and act as a concierge between courses to ensure a personalized, thoughtful experience as they learn with Juno, and embark on their career change.

Your Responsibilities

  • Engaging with students in our introductory courses to learn about their future learning and/or career goals
  • Consulting with students and alumni, and educating them on the value of Juno’s programs and courses, and helping them take the appropriate next steps
  • Interviewing applicants to our programs: interviews involve discussing with students their learning or career goals, determining if any of our solutions are a good fit, and if so, ensuring a seamless, personalized transition into their next course with us
  • Assisting applicants to Juno’s Bootcamps by providing appropriate next steps to move them forward in the admissions process
  • Attending and facilitating events and informational sessions for Juno students and potential students.
  • Working with the Manager of Admissions to ensure Juno’s Bootcamps are filled with amazing students
  • Managing administrative duties related to Juno Admissions.
  • Working closely with the rest of the Programs team to ensure a consistent and best-in-class student experience
  • Being an ambassador for Juno’s values to everyone who comes into our space

Your Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in Sales, or:
  • 1+ years of experience in a public-facing customer service environment
  • You exude friendliness and warmth when answering the phone and interacting with customers
  • You can communicate effectively via phone, video call, email & social
  • You are a great listener and you connect and build relationships with others easily
  • You are excited about developing and nurturing leads
  • You are goal-oriented and have an innate need to achieve and hit targets
  • You can manage your time effectively and have a track record of getting things done
  • You can follow processes and best practices to achieve consistent outcomes
  • You are comfortable using Google Docs, Sheets and Slides
  • You are not intimidated by numbers or light analysis in Google Sheets or Excel
  • You enjoy working online and with new technology
  • You have a ‘no job is too big or too small mentality
  • Most of all, you have a positive attitude and a desire to help others!

Salary, Perks & Benefits

  • Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Salary: $55,000 + $10,000 bonus/year
  • We’re transitioning to a 4-day workweek in 2022
  • 3 weeks paid annual vacation
  • Paid end of year closure from December 24th to the New Year
  • Paid 1-week company-wide summer office shutdown (yes, another week to relax!)
