In class at last: learn to code with us in Toronto!
At Juno College, we've been having a blast learning in our PJs during our Live Online courses — but like many of our students, we've also been missing that in-classroom experience.
After over two years, we're excited to begin our return to In-Person learning, starting with our popular part-time Web Development course. Classes will run from September 12 - November 7 on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Kickstart your tech journey in our beautifully renovated campus, with fellow coding lovers who will welcome you into the tech community!

Will you be offering more In-Person classes?
For now, we’ll be starting our return to In-Person classes with our Web Development course. Stay tuned for more updates by joining our In-Person Classes mailing list!
What COVID-19 policies will be in place during this course?
Using the University of Toronto’s policies as our guide, for In-Person Juno courses and on-campus activities:
- Completing a health screening prior will not be required. However, you should not come to campus if you’re feeling unwell or if you’ve recently tested positive for COVID-19.
- There is no vaccine requirement. However, based on public health guidance, vaccination requirements may be reinstated with little notice, which could result in de-enrolment or ineligibility to work, so staying up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations is strongly encouraged.
- There is no requirement to be masked, unless otherwise required.
- Classroom capacity will be capped at 60% for our In-Person Web Development course.
- High-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter units will be installed in the classroom.
Some or all of these requirements may be reinstated on short notice should public health conditions or guidance change. You can stay up to date with Juno’s COVID-19 Policy here.
What happens if the COVID-19 situation changes during this course? Could the course switch to Live Online?
We’ll continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation during the course. If public health conditions or guidance change during the course and we’re required to cease In-Person learning, the course will switch to our time-tested Live Online format, so that you can continue your learning.
If you prefer In-Person learning, you may also choose to defer to our next In-Person course. You’ll be able to pick up where you left off, but please note that we can’t guarantee that the instructor will be the same.
If you would like a refund, our regular refund policy applies.
Will recordings of the class be available?
Our In-Person courses are not recorded. If you miss a class, there will be a detailed summary of what was covered posted in course Slack channel, so you’ll have the opportunity to review that material in the detailed course notes. Your instructor and mentor are also available during Mentor Hours (in-person, 30 minutes before class starts) if you have any questions about the material, and will do everything they can to help catch you up!
We also recommend using our weekly virtual Office Hours outside of class days, which are offered to help fill any gaps in your understanding of the material, whether due to missing class or just needing more time to review.
Can I work on campus before and after classes?
You’re welcome to come to our newly renovated campus starting 1 hour before class begins — your class mentors will also be available in our classroom 30 minutes before the start of class! When class ends, all students will need to leave campus.
If you’d like to work from campus more regularly, we recommend becoming a member of Coral, our inclusion-driven coworking and community space! Day passes are also available for $25/day. For those interested and eligible, we offer financial aid to cover the membership cost.
Will there be additional learning time (Office Hours) on-site?
There will be weekly Live Online Office Hours throughout our In-Person Web Development course starting on September 12th, offered by Juno Alumni through Zoom outside of class days. This is the same format as all of our other Office Hours.
When will Mentor Hours for this course be?
Mentor Hours will take place In-Person in our classroom beginning at 6:00pm ET, until class starts at 6:30pm ET. This is a great opportunity to speak to a class mentor if you have any questions or want to review any course material!
