What formats are Juno's courses offered in?

All Juno courses are offered Live Online from anywhere in the world, or In-Person at our campus in the heart of downtown Toronto, Canada. If you choose to learn Live Online, all you need is a computer and a reliable internet connection. If you choose to learn In-Person, you need to be able to attend on campus classes for the duration of your course.

Will I be able to freelance after taking this course?

Yes! After taking this course you'll have the skills you need to create custom WordPress and Shopify themes for clients and you'll be able to take on a variety of freelance projects. Creating more advanced themes and certain features might require some JavaScript knowledge, so continuing with our part-time JavaScript would be the perfect next step to complete your freelance toolbox.

Will I be able to work at an agency after taking this course?

Most agencies will require JavaScript knowledge, in addition to knowledge of content management systems for employment. If you have taken our Web Development Immersive Bootcamp and are confident in your JavaScript skills, then you should feel confident applying for front-end development jobs at agencies after taking our WordPress & Shopify Development course!

Is the WordPress & Shopify Development course the same as the old Custom Theme Development course?

Yes! This course was previously called Custom Theme Development, and renamed WordPress & Shopify Development in June 2020. The course content is still exactly the same, we've just learned that WordPress & Shopify Development is a better way to describe the content of the course and reach people who are looking to learn about these exciting platforms.
