Owen Craig

Since graduating from York University with a BA in Theatre, Owen wasn't sure what he wanted to do next, and was thrilled to discover Juno College (then HackerYou). Remembering his love for building simple GeoCities websites in his high school days he signed up for some night classes and knew instantly that this was the future career he wanted.

Owen graduated from the bootcamp in 2016 and worked as a Front-End developer at ICF Next for four years. Getting to experience problem-solving and be involved with solution architecture on a daily basis was a fun challenge, but he's really excited to get back to one of his main interests: people. Bringing his career knowledge to students looking to make a change in their lives is a dream come true. In addition to teaching coding, Owen is also a big believer in working on soft skills such as teamwork, communication, and empathy.
