Testimonials
"Community flourishes here, and after experiencing it, all you want to do is give back. For me, extending that sense of community as far as I can take it in Toronto tech is how I've helped others in and outside Juno. Intrinsically I'm a person who likes to help where they can, and being on the Alumni Panels or being available to graduates who need the support (in programs like Level-up) allows me to not only self-actualize that supportive piece of myself, but share that feeling with others in a positive feedback loop. Juno. It's good for the soul." — Miguel Bautista
"If you're the type who enjoys making an impact, volunteering as a 1:1 mentor or for alumni office hours with Juno is an awesome way to leverage your technical skill set to uplift others in your community. Not only will it look great on your resume and impress your current employers, help to strengthen your technical communication and boost your confidence, but your positive impact can be felt immediately in a way that's beyond rewarding. I jump at every chance I can get to support Juno's D&I mission and help others succeed in this industry!" — Lizz Rennie

Opportunities:
- Alumni Office Hours: An opportunity for you to help current Bootcamp and Con-Ed students with their projects or coding concepts. A group of mentors will be assigned to each Office Hour session (typically happening weekdays from 6:00pm - 8:00pm ET and/or weekends from 1:00 - 4:00pm ET), and, using HelpCue, you help students with questions as they appear.
- 1:1 Mentorship: This is your chance to help our Bootcamp students 1:1 with coding concepts, their projects, and supporting them in their Bootcamp journey. These 1-2 hour sessions are scheduled throughout the Bootcamp on a student first-come-first-serve basis and, if signed up, you will receive a message once a student has indicated they need a 1:1 with a mentor.
