Here are 7 tech careers that are perfect for creative types, the skills needed, and their average salaries according to Glassdoor Canada!


Digital Marketer

Digital Marketers help develop marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, and/or sell a product or service. People in these roles continuously put on their creative caps to come up with new ways to peak the interest of consumers. Digital Marketers often collaborate with Graphic Designers and creatives in other departments in order to execute campaigns.

Web Designer

Making a website look visually appealing to users is the main responsibility of web designers. This includes conceptualizing colour schemes, images, fonts, and more. Having a natural eye for design, as well as staying up-to-date on best practices, is a must for web designers who are required to consistently bring their creativity to the table.
