At Juno, it’s always been our mission to break down barriers and support career changers on their tech journeys. A key part of this means closely monitoring and responding to our community’s needs and concerns — which is why we’re announcing the Recession Relief Scholarship, which awards career changers up to $5,000 towards Juno College’s Web Development Bootcamp.
With the rising costs of living and a looming recession at the top of our minds, we want to do our part to ensure that our community is supported during these times of economic uncertainty, with a strong focus on those who are from communities underrepresented in tech.

Scholarship Overview
- Up to $5,000 towards Juno’s Web Development Bootcamp (Full-Time or Part-Time)
- Needs-based and merit-based
- Short essay reviewed by the Admissions team
- Scholarship deadline: 1 month before the start of the Bootcamp
- Limited amount available — evaluated on a first come, first serve basis!
Application Eligibility
- 18 years old or older
- Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada
- Dedicated to making a career change into web development
- Submitted Bootcamp application by scholarship deadline
- Submitted written reflection by scholarship deadline
Scholarship Application Process
- Submit your Bootcamp application online and begin our Admissions process
- Check your email for a link to apply for the Recession Relief Scholarship
- Submit your scholarship application for evaluation by our Admissions team — you must submit your scholarship application 1 month before the start of your Bootcamp
You’ll be notified upon acceptance into Bootcamp if you’ll be granted the scholarship. While our goal is to support as many applicants as we can, there is a limited amount of scholarships available, and scholarships are not guaranteed.
If you’re unable to finance your education without this scholarship, Admissions will work with you to discuss other financing options such as Financeit loans and our Income Share Agreements program.
