Juno College's award-winning coding bootcamp is now available in a part-time format, designed to fit within a busy schedule.
Hey! I’m Charlotte, Juno College’s VP of Programs. Since Juno was founded in 2012 as HackerYou, we’ve helped thousands of people transform their careers with our courses and Bootcamps, from our campus in Toronto and Live Online from their homes.
It’s our mission to make a tech education more accessible to everyone, especially those from groups underrepresented in tech. That’s why I’m thrilled to announce a new flexible option for career changers: Part-Time Web Development Bootcamp!
Our inaugural Part-Time Web Development Bootcamp cohort will run for 32 weeks from July 12, 2022 - March 2, 2023, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6:00pm - 9:30pm ET.
In providing this part-time option, we’re excited to make changing careers with our Web Development Bootcamp more accessible than ever. Learn more about this new format below!
What are the benefits of Juno College’s Part-Time Web Development Bootcamp?
You Can Keep Working Your Job
Can't take 12 weeks off work to join our Full-Time Bootcamp? Looking to still make money while making a career change? Our Part-Time Bootcamp allows you to kickstart your new career journey without having to quit your job — that is, until you land your brand new tech job after graduation!
You Can Balance Other Commitments
We know life is busy, and that not everyone is able or is looking to commit to a Full-Time program. With our Part-Time Bootcamp, you can still balance other priorities while making your career change, whether that’s caregiving, working on hobbies or personal projects, or spending time with loved ones.
You Can Ease Into Your New Career
Think of Full-Time Bootcamp as a sprint, and Part-Time Bootcamp as a marathon. While some career changers are eager to break into tech as quickly as possible, everyone’s journeys and preferred pace are unique. Depending on your preferences and learning style, our Part-Time Bootcamp format may be better suited for your goals, and your physical and mental health.
Increased Accessibility
One of the recommendations from our EDI Action Plan that we announced in 2021 was to create a flexible program pathway with full Bootcamp support. While we know our signature Full-Time Bootcamp program works well for many career changers, we also know the time-intensive format poses barriers to members of different groups, including caregivers, people with disabilities, those who are socioeconomically disadvantaged, and more. Our new part-time format ensures that more people are able to access a tech education and launch a rewarding new career.
What’s staying the same in Juno College’s Part-Time Web Development Bootcamp?
Transformational Learning Experience
Whether you’re in our Full-Time or Part-Time Web Development Bootcamp, you’ll be receiving the same transformational learning experience. You’ll learn from the same cutting-edge curriculum and caring instructors. No matter your learning style or experience level, we have a diverse team of industry experts who make sure no one is left behind. Plus, you'll be part of our amazing inclusive alumni community who you can lean on for support!
Specialized Career Support
Our Part-Time Web Development Bootcamp students will receive the same world-class Career Services during their journeys. You’ll receive specialized support starting on week one, and it won’t end until you land a job! Our comprehensive Career Services curriculum includes regular one-on-one coaching sessions, resume and cover letter training, interview prep training, offer negotiation and contract support, and much more.
Income Share Agreements (ISAs) and Scholarships
If you need help funding your career change, our scholarships and student-friendly payment options are the same for our Full-Time and Part-Time Bootcamps. From our Transforming Tech Scholarship for underrepresented groups to our innovative Income Share Agreements, our financing options make tech more accessible for everyone.
Mental Health Support
Bootcamp is an intensive process, and we want to make sure that students have time to rest, recharge, and take care of themselves and loved ones during this big life change. That’s why we offer a suite of mental health resources, including student accommodation policies, staff mental health training, and 24/7 virtual mental health support for Bootcamp students.
