To celebrate Pride Month, we've gathered a list of tech organizations dedicated to the growth of the LGBT2Q+ tech community that we should all support not just this month, but year-round!

TransTech Social Enterprises

TransTech is a non-profit organization founded in 2014 by Angelica Ross. This digital co-working and co-learning community focuses on professional development, resource sharing, and creating employment opportunities for trans and gender non-conforming people in tech. Their membership provides access to their office space in Chicago, their jobs board, workshops, and events.

QueerTech

Originally an LGBTQ+ meetup group in Montreal, QueerTech is now a non-profit organization that spans across Canada and beyond. Through programs and events centred on learning, mentorship, and community, their mission is to queer the tech ecosystem.

Lesbians Who Tech

Lesbians Who Tech was founded in 2012 by Leanne Pittsford, and is now is a global community of over 70,000 members. Through their annual Pride Summit, coding scholarships, and more, their goals are to get more underrepresented people in technology, to be more visible to each other and others, and to connect their community with other organizations doing incredible work.

Out in Tech

Based out of New York with a community of over 40,000 members, Out in Tech focuses on professional development and creating opportunities to leverage tech for social change. They hold regular events and initiatives such as Digital Corp, which provides web services for LGBTQ+ activists and social entrepreneurs around the world.

QueerJS

QueerJS is a meetup series featuring queer speakers talking about everything from Git workflow etiquette, to online censorship techniques, to workplace accessibility, and more. Their events take place all around the world and virtually, and they also have a Discord where you can connect with the community in real-time.

Unicorns in Tech

Founded in Berlin, Unicorns in Tech is a global LGBTIQ+ community that regularly hosts events, meetups, and conferences. Members get access to insider newsletters, private discussion groups, event discounts, and job announcements. They even have a downloadable app that keeps you in the loop!

LGBTQ in Technology Slack

The LGBTQ in Technology Slack is a space where LGBT2Q+ people in technology to chat and support each other virtually over Slack. There are over 250 channels dedicated to all kinds of topics, as well as subgroups for specific identity labels and locations.
