Since Juno College was founded in 2012 as HackerYou, thousands of students have graduated from our courses.
Armed with best-in-class tech skills and knowledge of best practices, our alumni have integrated their new skills into their chosen professions, landed promotions, started businesses and side hustles, and hundreds and hundreds have switched careers completely to become web developers with our Web Development Bootcamp. Many of our alumni put their coding knowledge to use every day and their skills get even better with time.
But we know that not all of our students - especially those who aren’t interested in complete career changes - are lucky enough to be able to use their coding skills every day. Not being able to practice their code on a regular basis results in skills erosion - it’s easy for their coding skills and knowledge to drift away over time. Coding isn’t like riding a bike - if you don’t use your skills, you lose ‘em.
On top of that, bicycles have worked basically the same since their invention, but the world of web development changes all the time. New best practices are established on a regular basis and industry standards seem to evolve just as quickly as you master the old ones. The way that we built websites five years ago isn’t how we build them today. In fact, the way we built them a year ago isn’t how we build them today!
While this is one of the things that makes web development interesting and exciting, it also means that it’s easy for your coding skills to fall behind if you’re not using them regularly.
For this reason, we’re excited to introduce our brand new Lifelong Skills Guarantee. If you ever feel like your skills need brushing up or are out-of-date, you can refresh them by retaking Juno College courses you have already taken for just $500 plus tax.
Having lifetime access to course content is something that Juno has always offered. No matter when a student takes a course, they will always have access to the course notes.
Even better, those course notes are updated with best practices and industry standards on an ongoing basis. We put this in place to ensure that our students could always feel secure in their decision to learn to code at Juno.
But starting today, we’re taking that lifetime access a step further. With our Lifelong Skills Guarantee, our alumni have lifetime access to Juno courses too - it’s just $500 to return, anytime you want, as many times as you want, to retake the courses you have already taken.
No matter where you are in your learning journey, we want our students to have best-in-class tech skills, and our new Lifelong Skills Guarantee is just one of the ways that we can show our commitment to that. So, what do you need to know?
The Guarantee
Our Lifelong Skills Guarantee enables alumni to retake courses they have already taken at Juno for just $500 plus tax.
If you’d like to apply for the Lifelong Skills Guarantee, you can fill out the form here. Once you apply, you will be contacted by a member of our Admissions Team, and added to the next course that works for your schedule and has seats available.
While we give priority to students taking a course for the first time, we’ll work hard to ensure we can find a class that works for you as quickly as we can.
The Fine Print
An exciting part of this initiative is that you can take the class in any format. This means that no matter when or how you took your courses the first time, you have the option of taking them on weeknights, weekends, or our Accelerated format. So even though your first courses may have taken 8 weeks, you could choose to relearn that content in just 2 weeks on a full-time basis.
All of our ongoing courses are eligible. Our Bootcamps are not included, as they are full-time programs.
We also require an attendance commitment from you as part of the Lifelong Skills Guarantee. To participate, it’s required that you attend every class in the courses you are enrolled in. If you miss more than two classes, you will be de-registered, and asked to return to a different session that works better for your schedule.
While we understand that life is busy, this requirement is in place to ensure that students taking the courses for the first time aren’t disrupted, so that they have the same great experience you did when taking the courses for the first time!
