We've spent over five years delivering the best Part-Time Web Development courses in Toronto. Today we’re excited to launch a brand new way to learn the same curriculum in an intensive, immersive setting. We'll run our first ever **Accelerated Web Development** courses this July! While the content is identical to our part-time Web Development course formats, where the material is covered in six hours of class a week, the accelerated format has been engineered for those who would prefer weekday learning at a faster pace.
This format is optimal for students or teachers on a break from school, employees on vacation (or whose employers are supportive of short-term weekday learning), or those between jobs or contracts. Prior experience is not required. Beginners are very much welcome here! In Web Development Fundamentals, you’ll cover the principles of front-end development. Starting with the basics of HTML & CSS, we’ll quickly move towards more complex concepts like layouts and floats, positioning, navigation menus, and more. You will create a single-page website from a provided design file in this course.
In Advanced Web Development, you’ll build on the principles and concepts learned in the Fundamentals course. In-class topics include flexbox, Sass, and responsive web design. You’ll leave this course with the ability to build websites that look great on any screen, from mobile phones to iMacs! You will also have a brief introduction to JavaScript and jQuery.
