Looking for some web development portfolio inspiration to help your work stand out?

Creating a portfolio is a great way for new and seasoned web developers to showcase their coding skills, design style, and creativity. At Juno, our Web Development Bootcamp students are always encouraged to create portfolios as a way to stand out during the job search process and put their coding skills to practice at the same time!

And to help you get inspired, we gathered 10 amazing web developer portfolios created by Juno’s Web Development Bootcamp Alumni to inspire you!


Kay Evans-Stocks

Kay Evans-Stocks is a creative developer and graphic designer that’s passionate about building digital experiences that nurture community, inclusivity, and knowledge. For each project she’s worked on, Kay’s taken the time to put the spotlight on the organization she worked with, while highlighting the project goals. When you browse her portfolio you immediately get a feel for her creative design approach and the work that she’s capable of!

I am a creative designer and developer, who aims to work with small businesses and marginalized communities to bring their passions to life. I offer both design and development services of web applications or websites!

Alex Calia

Alex Calia's web developer portfolio has a spa-like feel with it’s simplistic and calming design! The one-page website design is easy to navigate and Alex’s years of experience stand out through the skills and projects section. The best part is that you can view the live, repository, or demo version of each project. It’s small touches like this that help your portfolio stand out!

Lucas Regazzi

This web development portfolio by Lucas Regazzi is bursting with colour and creativity! As a full-stack designer, Lucas has built an interactive portfolio that aligns with his goal to create work that expands meaningful engagement with the material world through digital means. A fun hack: move your cursor along the page to see the colours on the page change!

As an artist, my first love will always be crafting the visual. Through Juno I was able to leverage my creative skills with an incredible web development toolkit, and now I spend most days branding, designing and building out web interfaces as a freelancer.

Sharon Yi

When you scroll through Sharon Yi’s portfolio you immediately get a sense of her personality through the playful colour palette and addition of emojis. Sharon is currently working at Indigo as a Front-End Developer and the projects section on her website showcases the interactive and creative web development work that she’s capable of!

Coming from a background in design, I love creating pages where I’m able to actually create enjoyable interactions and experiences for everyone! And with Juno’s education and support, I’m now able to truly call myself a Front-End Developer who is currently working at Indigo!

Andrea Lacson

From the pastel colour palette to visual typography elements,Andrea Lacson’s portfolio is eye catching and memorable! Andrea is passionate about Javascript, diversity, and books, and this clearly shows through the projects section, where she highlights the impactful work she’s been involved in. If you go to the About section you can easily download Andrea’s resume that has the same look as her portfolio and adds that extra branded touch!

I'm currently an implementation developer at a fintech startup called Nest Wealth where I help customize our codebase to fit new client needs. Advocating for diversity and inclusion is something that's very important to me, and thankfully I've found a workplace that helps support that mission.

Afua Deborah

When you land on Afua Deborah’s portfolio, you’re instantly drawn in with the fun typing element that spells out her name. Plus, Afua has an extensive projects section that really showcases her creative style and coding skills in a visually appealing way. A smart tip: on the bottom right there’s a toggle that lets you view the website in dark or light mode!

I work on builds and maintenance for a variety of client sites for my job during the day, and at night you can also find me doing some freelance work on the side taking on my clients' sites (made in a variety of site builders/platforms), giving them a design-focused revamp, and adding some custom features and functionality to make them shine! I've always been drawn to both the creative and analytical side of development, so I'm so thankful to be able to do both with the foundation I built during bootcamp.

Evan Wallace

Evan Wallace’s web developer portfolio is colourful, playful, and fun to navigate! As you scroll through the website, each section has a unique colour design and surrounding pattern. Evan loves clean, elegant, and intuitive code, and this clearly shows through the design of his personal website!

I'm working as a Junior Software Engineer (Infrastructure) at Rose Rocket. Juno taught me how to share my projects, skills, and story with employers and helped me land my dream job. It's been an amazing journey!

Nick Reyno

If you’re looking for a web developer portfolio that has a modern MySpace look then Nick Reyno’s is a great example! When you get to the portfolio section, Nick’s created a fun flip-card design that reveals the details of each project and adds a quirky touch to the navigation. This website is straightforward with lots of personality and a unique style.

I work as a contractor developing Wordpress websites for healthcare companies in the US. Wordpress and PHP have really highlighted the value of open source projects and I'm eternally grateful for the people who contribute to them!

Philip Turkiewicz

The Juno team also has its fair share of impressive web developer portfolios and our Marketing Developer, Philip Turkiewicz is one worth mentioning. Their website has a vibrant neon colour palette combined with fun copy that encourages you to keep scrolling to learn more about their coding skills. Plus, in the About section you can easily download Philip’s resume and get to know more about their professional experience!

I started my coding journey almost exactly a year ago and now I'm working full time and doing freelance projects on the side for my friends. You may have noticed from my portfolio, but I'm obsessed with unique, interesting design and user-friendly functionality so hit me up with your weird artistic project ideas or app proposals.

Sandy Pranjic

The botanical and earthy vibe of Sandy Pranjic’s portfolio is original and does a great job of showcasing her design style. Sandy uses her background in visual arts to build creative tech solutions and a quick browse through her previous projects shows just that!

I'm a Software Engineer based in Toronto, and currently working at VEED (a super cool video editing app - check it out!). I feel really lucky that I get paid to do one of my biggest hobbies, and I have Juno to thank for starting my career.
