About the Position
Though 2020 has certainly gone differently than we expected it to, at Juno, we remain focused on our purpose: helping young people get ahead. The impact of the COVID-19 crisis on young people has been enormous, and more than ever, young people are going to need us to help them discover exciting career opportunities and support them in making a career change.
To date, we’ve done that through our highly rated Web Development Immersive program, but we see a huge opportunity to do that again, in a new area.
That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a strategic, organized and well-rounded Manager of Growth Verticals to join the Juno team.
In this role, you’ll work with and report directly to the CEO to validate a Growth Vertical that the company has been exploring for some time now. It’s been validated through dozens of conversations with industry leaders and those in academia, so now we’re ready to take it further, for example, by doing focus groups and writing a business plan. Once our assumptions are validated, you’ll create the project plan, encompassing all actions needed to take the Growth Vertical from just an idea to the point where it’s ready for students. You’ll create five year revenue and profit projections, and then be responsible for hitting those numbers. You’re also the product leader - working with the CEO and other members of the Juno team, you’ll decide what goes into this new program, and what stays out. As a registered Private Career College, there are also some interesting regulatory details to learn about and work with. You can see why we’re looking for someone strategic, organized and well-rounded for this role. Your ideas will make the program better, and your execution skills will turn it into a reality!
This role is perfect for someone who has been or wants to become an entrepreneur. It could also be a good fit for someone who has a couple years of consulting experience. If you’ve successfully built out programs or Growth Verticals in the past at other companies or organizations, we would definitely like to hear from you.
